5782 Hamantashen Bake-Off

Guidlines for Bakers:
  • All bakers must register to participate. In order to allow everyone to vote on their favorite hamantashen from home, each baker will be assigned a number based on the order you register in. You will receive this number in the week prior to the Purim Carnival.
  • Each hamantash must be labeled with your assigned number - on each bag, a sticker, etc - so that people can identify your hamantashen to vote for them.
  • Each hamantash must be wrapped in plastic wrap or in a plastic baggy (we're sorry about the environmental impact, but the health impact is greater)
  • There is no minimum number required, but the more the merrier to support the Social Action Committee's work against food insecurity!
  • All hamantashen must be nut-free.
  • All bakers must display a complete list of ingredients with their hamantashen.
  • Hamantashen must be on a plate or tray, and you must take your plate or tray home with you.
  • There will be no early drop-off - bakers or their designees must be present on Sunday morning!
The Purim Carnival and Bake-Off will take place outside in the tent at NVHC on Sunday, March 13 from 9:30am-12:00pm. Please email emily@nvhcreston.org if you have any questions!
